Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating Pick and Bid activities for the Division of Track & Infrastructure. Ensure all Picks and Bids comply with contractual agreement and department procedures. Coordinate activities with Operating Divisions, Human Resources, and Timekeeping.
Education/Experience
Associate Transit Management Analyst
1. A master's degree from an accredited college in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and two (2) years of full time satisfactory professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports. One year of experience must have been in the transportation industry; or
2. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in one of the areas listed above and three (3) years of full-time related experience, of which one (1) year must have been in the transportation industry; or
Assistant Transit Management Analyst: I - II.
1. A master's degree from an accredited college in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and one (1) year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports; or
2. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in one of the areas listed in '1' above; and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in '1' above.
Note: A master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience as described herein
Qualified Skills
Strong written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of Windows software and applications.
Use of Micro station and Spotlight software to modify signal drawings.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Familiarity with OCE system.
