Description:
We're an established Multifamily General Contractor in the San Antonio, TX area that has been in business for 20 years specializing in building student housing, affordable housing, townhomes / duplexes, market rate apartments, and build for rent communities throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
Our team has an immediate need to make a long-term hire for a Project Manager to be based out of our headquarters office in San Antonio, TX. The first project you will be managing is a new 267-unit midrise project that will be built in Oklahoma City, Ok. This project is about to begin its preconstruction phase, and this position is for immediate hire so you can be involved in all preconstruction conversations of the project.
The ideal candidate will have a prior background working for a GC or Developer / Builder with experience building ground-up apartment complexes, senior living facilities, and/or student housing projects.

Compensation / Benefits:
- Base Salary: $115,000 - $135,000
- Monthly Allowances
- Project Bonus: paid out across 3 phases of the project

Requirements / Skills:
- College degree in a construction related field, or 10 years of applicable industry experience will be considered
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing all phases of multifamily construction projects
- Proficient with Procore, Microsoft Office, and various other construction software's
- Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, scheduling and safety practices
- Strong organization, time-management, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate contracts, manage personnel, meet deadlines and goals, and maintain confidentiality
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining working professional relationships with the project design team, company field and office personnel, subcontractors, vendors etc.
- Assuming a leadership role in overseeing the preparation of the construction documents
- Administering contracts between Owner and General Contractor and General Contractor and Subcontractors and Vendors
- Managing value engineering efforts for the project
- Preparing and processing all paperwork and documents to Owner, project design team and subcontractors in a timely and complete manner
- Reporting and providing assistance to the Vice President and President of Construction with project management duties as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
