The Role
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Leadership & Strategy:
You'll work hand-in-hand with the regional Vice President or Senior Vice President to drive all operational and financial aspects of the business, contributing to AVB's overall goals.
2. Program Development & Collaboration:
You'll collaborate with key business partners to develop and implement programs that maximize revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and support the success of on-site teams.
3. Revenue Management:
Partner with the Revenue Management team to develop and implement strategies that maximize revenue across our properties.
4. Budgeting & Financial Management:
You'll be involved in creating and presenting annual operating budgets, ensuring financial goals are met and exceeded.
5. Leading & Supporting Teams:
You'll lead, mentor, and coach on-site personnel, resolve employee relations issues, and help develop career paths for associates on your team.
6. Strategic Projects & Growth:
Represent Property Operations on corporate projects, helping to develop and implement strategic initiatives across the organization.
7. Market Insights & Forecasting:
You'll analyze regional market trends to understand their impact on our portfolio and provide insightful feedback to senior management.
8. Ensuring Excellence in Service:
Foster a culture focused on sales and service excellence, guiding your teams to meet and exceed performance targets.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with various teams-Marketing, Engineering, Asset Management, and more-to ensure operational and financial goals are met across multiple portfolios.

What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in property management, hospitality, or the retail industry.
- Experience: 7+ years managing multi-site, multi-property operations (ideally in property management, hotel/resort management, or a similar field).
- Skills:
- Strong leadership with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Advanced financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and forecasts.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic agility, change management, business analysis, influencing, and communication skills.
- Underwriting experience in assessing new development & acquisition deals as well as successfully managing a stabilized portfolio.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear reports and deliver engaging presentations.
- A passion for creating positive, customer-focused environments and solving complex challenges.
- Ability to manage change with ease and lead teams through periods of transition.
- Additional Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Ability to travel between multiple locations as needed.
