Who we are looking for:

The Director, Network Reliability is responsible for leading our Network Engineering Tier-2, Network Engineering Tier-3, Advanced Services Engineering & Network Operations Center.

Network Engineering
  • Provides Tier-2 Engineering Support
    • IP/Broadband (Access)/IPTV/Wireless/Voice/Transport Networks and Services
    • Handles Tier-1 Escalations
  • Provides Tier-3 Engineering Support
    • P/Broadband (Access)/IPTV/Wireless/Voice/Transport Networks and Services
    • Escalations from Tier-2
    • Constructs & Approves Method-of-Procedures (MOP) for Network Changes or Customer Service Change Enhancements
  • Accountable for Capacity Management & Service Level Agreement (SLA) Reporting
    • Transport OTUx Circuit Design & Circuit Testing Acceptance Verification
  • Provides Lab Certification Support & Work-Instruction Documentation
    • Performs Scheduled Maintenance Activities & First Office Application (FOA) Deployments

Network Advanced Services
  • Provides Advanced Technical Support for Sales on Customer Engagements
    • Professional Services / Statement of Work Proposals & Implementation
    • Customer Network / Service Audit Reviews
  • Provides Managed Network Services Support
    • Customer Premise Equipment Monitoring & Management
    • Break/Fix / Patching & Revision Upgrade(s)
  • Provides Security Consulting Activities for GTA (Internal) and Sales (Customer Engagements)
  • Security Monitoring & Management
    • Threat Response

Network Operations Center
  • Provides Tier-1 Monitoring and Support
    • IP/Broadband (Access)/IPTV/Wireless/Voice/Transport Networks and Services
  • Manages Incident Response for Internal Communications associated to Network Outages
  • Manages Request for Change (RFC) Notifications for Scheduled & Un-Planned Maintenance Activities
  • Reports and Maintains Network Availability & Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Metrics


Candidates must show:
  • Ability to promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
  • Product/Service knowledge: Remains up to date on the latest services and products we provide and has a clear understanding of how each work. Working knowledge of telecom network offerings such as Ethernet, TDM, DSL and Wireless access providers also required.
  • Customer centric: Puts the customer first and creates a positive experience for the customer by building relationships and maximizing service/product offerings. Stays current with knowledge of products clients require and can foresee their future technology needs
  • Accountability: Punctual and dependable to meet the needs of our customers. Has the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Has the ability to assess an issue, provide creative solutions, and analyze if the solution was viable.
  • Organizational support: Ability to follow company policies and procedures in accordance with contract/agreement(s) and Company Goals, completes administrative tasks thoroughly, accurately, promptly, and efficiently as possible with respect to human resources, financial management and profitability.
  • Technical skills: Constantly strives to increase technical knowledge to improve training tools through latest product knowledge, industry knowledge, and research.
  • Growth and Learning: Is curious and understands that learning is a lifelong endeavor. You own your learning and development, and you are committed to evolving


Candidates must show:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop staff
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance
  • Must be able to work any shift and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary to meet the needs and goals of the business
