TikTok search is a global team which aims to provide access to the world's information and creative content with a simple click. To our search engine, evaluation is important as it helps assess the quality of search results, thereby improving users' search experience. As a search evaluation Product Manager, you will be responsibile to provide independent, objective, and accurate evaluation viewpoints by defining what's the best experience for our users and implementing a global evaluation plan. Your insights combined with various evaluation and research data will help the entire product development team continuously understand users' needs and optimize the product. Daily work of the team covers user research, data analysis, project management and other related areas.

In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for improving TikTok search user experience through research for different product functions, content, and algorithm strategies
- Provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams on the product's future iterations based on experience evaluation, data analysis, market research and user research
- Collaborate with the international operations team to facilitate the implementation of the research and evaluation plans, especially ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the deliverables

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Have profound knowledge of search products and search engines, and understand basic research and evaluation methodologies
- Possess strong logical thinking, deep user empathy and acumen in data analysis
- Be capable of independently developing project plans, overseeing the execution of the local team, and performing risk management to minimize project risks. Ensure resource availability and allocation to deliver every project on time
- Strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills and solid organizational skills, including attention to details and multi-tasking skills
- As this role involves daily collaboration with global counterparts, proficiency in Mandarin is required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Having 3 or more years of experience with search or LLM is a plus
