Nurse Manager

Avant Tech is currently seeking an ambitious Nurse Manager to oversee our nursing staff and ensure the highest standards of patient care within our facility. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with health regulations. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative environment, motivating the nursing team, and optimizing patient care practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and recruitment of nursing personnel.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care and implement improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with nursing best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate communication between nursing staff, healthcare providers, and patients.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and training to nursing staff.
• Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the nursing department.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong understanding of healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and staff at all levels.
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles and practices in a healthcare setting.
