Job Description
The CPS Technology Solutions Manager participates in the overall growth and development of Care Purchasing Services (CPS) technology programs and solutions. This includes conducting general sales, marketing and business development duties with vendors that will increase revenue for CPS and provide solution driven programs for CPS members. In addition, it includes responding to CPS Client Account Managers, customer experience team, as well as customers' requests regarding services, products and account information, in keeping with established policies and procedures.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Clinical Programs and CPS Privacy/Security Officer and has no direct or indirect reports.

Estimated Salary Range: $96,000 - $104,000

The Role:
- Research, identify, and negotiate innovative technology solutions relevant to our industry.
- Partner with LCS' IT team to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and in alignment with service standards.
- Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other tools to identify and track potential vendors in order to capture new business and capitalize on growth opportunities within the existing CPS client base.
- Promote CPS to potential vendors and existing client groups in an effort to achieve quarterly business growth and meet service expectations. Assist in executing marketing strategies/ objectives with vendors to promote increased revenue.
- Negotiate and implement national and regional vendor contracts as assigned.
- Establish and maintain a thorough knowledge of CPS products, services, vendor information and customer base.
- Manage customer and vendor relationships by assisting the Client Account Managers and CES team in:
- Understanding and researching customer inquiries;
- Responding to customer inquiries and questions regarding services, products and account information; and
- Resolving problems, proposing new solutions and providing proactive follow up in a timely manner.
- Assist in the collection, development and presentation of vendor and customer financial data for quarterly and annual benchmark reports.
- Work with Client Account Managers (CAMS). CES team, and other business development personnel to analyze customer business opportunities and threats.
- Analyze sales figures, draw conclusions and make sound business recommendations based on data.
- Coordinate new vendor announcements to appropriate customers and staff.
- Attend in-services, training and education sessions, as assigned, including training new CPS staff members as assigned.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience:
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in technology solutions geared towards the acute or post-acute setting.
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in marketing/sales, customer service/client account management or related field as well as experience with a CRM system.
- In-depth knowledge of the technology industry and current market trends.
- Detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation, organization and time management skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Self-driven, motivated and results oriented.
- Ability to work individually and as a part of a team.
- Ability to work with formulas and statistical data.
- Computer literate to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM.
