The Operations Manager helps to ensure successful planning, management and analysis of clinical practice operations, program development, information systems, human resources, and compliance, to optimize the Department's operational activities. This position functions as the principle advisor to the Executive Administrator and the Vice Chair(s) for Clinical Affairs and Quality on all clinical administrative matters pertaining to the Department. The Operations Manager partners with other senior members in the Department, in the School, in the Health Services Foundation and in the UAB Health System regarding all aspects of clinical and academic program development to ensure timely and fiscally responsible execution. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as HSF policies and procedures.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or similar field required: minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in a healthcare setting: or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
