Work involves responsibility for professional civil engineering work in the development, construction, and maintenance of engineering projects.
Nature of Work/Examples of Work Performed
Prepares roadway and drainage construction and maintenance plans.
Assist staff with subdivision review, inspections, applications, and special permits reviews.
Assist in modernizing the design section and assist with other updates as required.
Obtain permits for construction/programs.
Assist with One and Six-Year Road and Bridge Program.
Communicate and coordinate with outside agencies and consultants.
Minimum Qualifications/Necessary Special Requirements
Possession of a valid Engineer in Training Certificate or the ability to obtain within one year of hire.
