The Director, Real Estate and Asset Management, PC Financial and Services is responsible for capital planning and strategy build for national store assets respective to PC Financial Pavilions, PC Financial ATMs, The Mobile Shop and Gift Cards. This successful candidate will also be responsible for the management of the current network, identifying all opportunities to optimize current store assets across all Loblaw banner stores, accountable for the ATM network, maintenance program, creation and management of process controls and perform regular on-site reviews. You will bring sound knowledge of retail design industry and operating trends.

What you will do:
- Build capital plans and align to corporate strategic objectives for each division
- Working collaboratively to optimize retail selling spaces and brand presence while maximizing sales
- Create and manage annual and 5-year plans for capital expenditures/capital re-investments
- Responsible for the planning and execution of PC Financial and Services design, new builds, and renovations, in store fixtures and exterior signage
- to secure and optimize in-store assets and locations
- Work with cross functional teams including Loblaw Real Estate (LRE), Strategy, Operations and Merchandising teams; collaborating on optimization of current assets and new store strategies
- Ensure project alignment with LRE Project Managers to build standards and project budgets
- On-Site Reviews/Process Controls
- Complete weekly store visits to gain insights on projects, maintenance, and operations
- Create and maintain detailed and accurate records of standard operating procedures, floorplans, and store details
- Vendor Management, negotiate lease agreements
- ATM Business Owner; accountable for ATM reporting, vendor risk, QBR and annual assessments
- People Management
- Provide on-call support for managing Health and Safety escalations and major incidents
Additional responsibilities:
- 25% Travel within Canada, flexible work hours to support national projects and occasional 7 days a week on-call support
What you bring:
- 5-7 years of proven experience in leading retail or commercial builds
- Post-Secondary Degree in building and/or a project management related field with strong knowledge of construction documentation
- Relationship builder
- Strong Leadership skills
- Dynamic, self-starter who is inquisitive and able to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to be analytical and detail oriented
- Capability to work under pressure and tight timelines
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Applications including Excel and PowerPoint
