Debug Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Electrical Engineer to join our team. This unique role combines traditional electrical engineering responsibilities with cross-functional Jira administration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in circuit reliability and debug, coupled with a passion for optimizing workflows and improving team collaboration and issue tracking through Jira. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our electrical systems while also acting as a key resource for Jira administration across the company.

Essential Functions:

Electrical Debug :

• Test, and analyze electrical and photonics circuits.
• Debug failures, conduct root cause analysis, and develop reliability protocols.
• Create technical documentation, and ensure seamless system integration.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Jira ( Issue tracking ) Administration:
• Manage Jira: user setup, workflows, and configurations.
• Optimize collaboration through Jira training, dashboards, and plugins.
• Organize Jira issues, gather requirements, and maintain documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit reliability and debug.
• 2+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex Jira workflows.
• Electrical engineering principles knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Circuit simulation software (SPICE) experience.
• Industry reliability standards knowledge.
• Scripting (Python) for automation.
• Atlassian Certifications.
• Industry experience with electrical testing and Jira administration.

Salary range:$120,000 - $160,000
