Publicis Sapient is looking for a Mid-Level Data Curator to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You will support a biomedical data standards project by performing a variety of data management and curation tasks helping to ensure the quality and integrity of a new shared data definitions for preclinical neurotrauma research. Your Impact:

Support interdisciplinary teams, including researchers, data scientists, and clinical experts to identify and develop Common Data Elements (CDEs) tailored to specific research domains. Maintain data dictionary, metadata schemas, and controlled vocabularies to facilitate data discovery and interoperability.

Identify, review, research and resolve quality control reports findings

Create and Document new data formats in support of data harmonization

Streamline and implement new/enhanced processes for data curation using scripting and statistical programming.

Provide guidance and trainings on use of CDEs to promote adoption in research projects

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Information Management, Public Health, or Life Sciences.

Education: MS degree in Data Science, Life Sciences, Social Sciences,Information Management, Computer Science, Library Science, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in data curation, data management, or research methodologies.

Familiarity with data documentation and metadata management practices and tools.

Experience developing or managing data dictionaries and metadata repositories.

Proficiency with data processing, data transformation and data visualization technologies like Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, R/Python, and Tableau/Power BI

Knowledge of database systems

Ability to work in a collaborative environment, engaging with experts across different

disciplines.

Excellent written and verbal communication

Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Flexible, collaborative, and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while working independently

Set Yourself Apart With:

Experience with data standards (e.g., HL7, CDISC, or ISO 11179).

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis or automation.

Knowledge of UML and business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

Experience working in industries with high data governance needs, such as healthcare, finance, or research.

Knowledge of clinical trials, research protocols, or registry-based studies

Familiarity with data collection systems and databases used in research or clinical

settings.

Experience with data mining, biomedical databases and data integration

Demonstrated ability to query databases

Customer service and/or stakeholder management experience

Familiarity with AGILE methodology and principles

Passionate about working in a dynamic fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Strong desire to support public scientific databases

Passionate about open science and collaboration

Understanding of regulatory and ethical considerations related to data sharing and standardization.

Additional Information

Pay Range: Annual USD 95,000-120,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently used at Publicis Sapient.

The actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and the specific skillset required for the work itself.
