Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Electrical Product Engineer. The Sr. Electrical Product Engineer will research, develop, design and test electrical components equipment and systems. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!

Location: Staunton, VA - Onsite

What you will do:
  • Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, domestic and internal purposes
  • Design and direct engineering personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment and determine methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products
  • Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses
  • Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements
  • Direct and coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field and internal installations
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Electrician license
  • Understanding of HVAC equipment and components

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $87,800-$143,100 + 10% bonus in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
