Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Lead Developer to support, enhance, and improve a mainframe modernization project. This role requires expertise in .NET Core, C#, JSON, Swagger, and MS-SQL to develop custom integrations with an existing RBDMS platform. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team leader responsible for application enhancement and resolving production issues. Work follows a structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using a modified Agile approach.

Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development & Best Practices:
- Develop software components and recommend database schema changes following industry standards and best practices.
- Perform testing to ensure the product meets requirements, including test data creation, test cases, and test scripts.
- Technical Analysis & Problem Solving:
- Conduct technical analysis on defects or enhancements to improve efficiency and adapt to new procedures.
- Identify root causes and solutions for complex technical issues.
- Team Collaboration & Contribution:
- Work closely with project teams to estimate development efforts, discuss architecture/design, and resolve defects.
- Provide updates on work assignments and maintain technical documentation, including process flows, data models, test plans, and system diagrams.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development using .NET with C#.
- 8+ years of experience in .NET Core development within a team environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
- Availability for occasional night and weekend support for code deployments and application maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- 4+ years of experience leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GoAnywhere for secure file transfers.
- Proficiency in MSSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and distributed version control.
- Expertise in Visual Studio IDE.
- Experience with Telerik/Kendo UI controls.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining Unit Tests and regression tests.
- Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of PDF document manipulation (e.g., iText).
- Experience with Azure multi-environment deployments.
