Job Title: Tax Manager (CPA)
Location: Austin, TX area. Open to Hybrid, Potentially remote
Salary: $120k-$160k DOE + bonuses, PTO, 401k, insurance, etc
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Public Accounting. Must have at least 1 year of experience at a Tax Supervisor or Tax Manager.
We are a top mid-size accounting firm located in the greater Austin area. We are looking to add an experienced tax manager to the team to help drive the growth that we have been experiencing. What You Will Be Doing
As a tax manager you will be leading and mentoring a team of other seasoned and junior tax professionals. You will be tasked with managing the preparation, review, and timely filing of federal and state tax forms. There will be a strong emphasis on the oversight and constructing of your team. You will also be given the opportunity to help improve on the companies best practices and develop strategic tax planning for clients. Lastly, you will need to monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments and understand how they affect clients and our protocols both positively and negatively.
