Position Summary
The Director of Technology Operations will serve as the strategic leader overseeing all IT functions within the organization. This role will lead the management team responsible for applications, infrastructure, security and networking, database architecture, technology procurement and financial management, software development, and support systems. The Director will be accountable for aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals, driving digital transformation, and ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable technology operations.
Position Responsibilities
Leadership and Oversight: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the organization's IT managers and teams focused on applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, database management, procurement, financial management, software development, and technical support. Drive the alignment of technology operations with the organization's strategic vision, ensuring effective collaboration across teams. Application Management: Oversee software development, application lifecycle management, maintenance, and support. Implement strategies to optimize application performance, reliability, and security. Ensure timely and effective resolution of software and application issues, leveraging internal resources and vendor partnerships. Infrastructure, Security, and Networking: Lead infrastructure planning and management, including data center operations, cybersecurity strategies, and network architecture. Establish best practices for infrastructure security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and scalability. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to align infrastructure operations with organizational technology strategies. Database Structure and Management: Oversee database architecture, development, and administration activities. Ensure database performance, security, reliability, and compliance with data governance policies. Technology Procurement and Financial Management: Manage financial planning and budgeting for all technology-related functions, including applications, infrastructure, hardware, networking, data management, and human capital within IT. Oversee procurement strategies and processes for technology assets and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance. Maintain strategic relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to optimize technology investment. Technology Project Management: Direct and oversee complex technology projects from initiation through completion, managing personnel resources, timelines, budgets, and risks. Ensure projects achieve intended outcomes and meet strategic objectives and quality standards. Provide clear and consistent communication on project progress to stakeholders and executive leadership. Operational Support Development: Drive continuous improvement and innovation across IT operations, identifying opportunities for automation, enhanced user experience, and efficiency. Ensure compliance with security, data integrity, and regulatory requirements across all technology platforms. Monitor and report on KPIs and performance metrics, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.

Position Qualifications - KSA (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally managing diverse technology teams and environments.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise software solutions, cybersecurity, networking infrastructure, database management, procurement, and financial management practices.
- Proven experience leading technological transformations in fast-paced, complex operational environments.
- Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in the staffing or workforce solutions industry (preferred).
- Familiarity with managing geographically dispersed IT support (preferred).
- Certification in ITIL or relevant service management frameworks (preferred).
