Your Role
The Strategic Planning and Performance team develops long-term strategies, annual plans, and performance reporting for the Individual and Family Plan line of business. The Strategic Planning and Performance, Principal - IFP will report to the Director, Strategic Planning and Performance Management. In this role you will play a critical role in supporting strategies with participating cross-functionally in business planning to support IFP affordability, access to care and quality goals and assist in the planning and direction of budgets. Additionally, you will lead activities that optimize the performance of IFP, including managing the monthly and quarterly business review meetings, and be responsible for monitoring the work of team members and providing guidance and leadership.

Additionally, you will lead activities that optimize the performance of IFP, including managing the monthly and quarterly business review meetings, and be responsible for monitoring the work of team members and providing guidance and leadership.
Responsibilities
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for planning and implementation of complex programs spanning across business areas which include encompass multiple projects, initiatives, and where analysis requires evaluation of intangible variance factors
- Ensure strategic direction of program is in line and designs strategies for alignment with goals and objectives
- Be responsible for facilitating annual strategic planning process and management
- Work in conjunction with financial partners to complete business planning and forecasting including management of budget planning as part of the annual budget cycle
- Ability to interact with all levels including senior management and influence decision-making with proven ability to determine key business issues, develop effective action plans, and implement to a successful conclusion
- Create, manage and maintain executive dashboard reporting, implementation roadmaps, portfolio processes and operating models to support IFP strategic goals
- Lead end-to-end preparations for Monthly, Quarterly Business Reviews and IFP performance management forums, including aggregating performance data and preparing information and meeting materials
- Manage logistics, execution and development of materials for - presentations, reports and data analysis - for internal events such as All-Hands, Townhalls and executive briefings, employee engagement activities and external meetings
- Manage large sets of data and track to deadlines to support a variety of executive-level forums in support of IFP strategic planning and performance reporting
- Collaborate with functional partners to create insightful key performance metrics for the IFP line of business that drives transparency and action to meet required performance and desired outcomes
Qualifications
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires Health Plan experience
- Requires experience with strategic planning and portfolio, project and program management to develop and maintain business strategies and roadmaps
- Requires experience with data analytics and ability to provide insights to leadership
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication, including ability to provide quality reporting at a level appropriate for executive leadership and Board of Directors, capable of self-management and exhibits a self-starter attitude with proven ability to collaborate with and influence team members of all-levels functioning in a matrix environment
- Prefers demonstrated experience as a chief of staff
