Title: Audit Director - Architecture, Engineering & Construction

Responsibilities:
Lead and execute financial audits of clients, including project contracts, financial statements, revenue recognition, and cost controls.
Review and evaluate internal controls, financial processes, and accounting practices to identify areas for improvement.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, understanding client needs, and delivering exceptional service.
Provide financial and strategic advice to clients, helping them make informed decisions to improve their business.
Supervise and mentor a team of audit senior managers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and accounting standards, ensuring clients' compliance with them while identifying and assessing financial risks, and offering solutions and recommendations to mitigate potential issues.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop the firm's strategic vision, business goals, and financial plans.
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Master's degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
Experience:
8 + years of experience in auditing, with a focus on clients.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in audit software and financial analysis tools.
Business development skills and the ability to foster and maintain client relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
