Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead ETL Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing data systems and applications, with a focus on ensuring quality and efficiency. This role involves leading a team of testers, developing comprehensive test strategies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning: Develop detailed test strategies and plans, including objectives, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of testers, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress.
- Test Design & Execution: Collaborate with the team to design test scenarios and cases, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee the execution of test cases, address issues promptly, and prepare comprehensive reports on defects and overall quality.
- Defect Management: Use defect tracking systems to manage and resolve issues in collaboration with developers.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance the testing process for better quality and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with validating structured and unstructured databases.
- Proficiency with SQL and Python for test scripting and test automation.
- Experience with data testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing (Snowflake and Informatica IDMC preferred).
- Experience with validating reports, feeds, and MI dashboards.
- Experience with automation of streaming technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience with adoption of DataOps for test automation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prepare detailed test reports and documentation.
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking.
- Clear and concise communication with stakeholders.
