Enterprise Safety and Aerospace Safety Analytics Organization within Chief Aerospace Office (CASO) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Specialist - Product Managerto lead, manage and advance key products and capabilities in connection with strengthening Product Safety and Safety Management System (SMS). Our team is currently hiring for a Senior (level 4) or Principal (level 5) Project Management Specialist to join the team in Long beach, CA, Everett, WAor Seattle, WA.
Position Overview:
This position will lead and integrate capability development across the Safety & Airworthiness Functional Chief Office. Given the geographically diverse nature of Enterprise Safety and Aerospace Safety Analytics Integrated Product Team (IPT), the successful candidate must excel in a collaborative environment that embraces Agile & Scrum methodologies, as well as virtual teamwork. Key attributes for this role also includes Curiosity, Courage, & Creativity, which are essential in shaping the future capabilities through strategic and tactical product management.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of in-direct product owners, developers, SMEs and purchased services to develop Boeing Safety Intelligence (BSI), Safety People Network (Salesforce) and other Safety capabilities such as Speak Up Analytics and BCAB-Safety Modules
- Integrate with Aerospace Safety Analytics Stakeholders and Senior Enterprise Leaders to align product/capability priorities, features, and feedback.
- Coordinate and allocate resources with IT, external vendors and internally, ensuring that team members are utilized efficiently and that capability development milestones are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and set development priorities and align requirements
- Support leading the Safety & Airworthiness Functional Chief Engineer (FCE) Capability Road mapping, Governance, and development initiative
- Support Aerospace Safety Analytics IPT projects, portfolio management, and Agile operations
- Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Prepare established metrics and Key Performance Indicators for Aerospace Safety Committee review
- Identify potential O&Rs associated with development efforts and participate in LRBP forecasting
- Foster an environment of diversity and advance inclusive culture of collaboration, innovation, excellence, delivery and positive support while displaying seek, speak and listen habits
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- More than 10 years experience in project management with a proven track record of overseeing and managing complex projects and tool/capability development
- More than 10 years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including experience with change management
- Proficiency in using data to inform decision-making and understanding of SMS elements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
