As the Organizational Effectiveness Director, you'll play a vital role in enhancing Best Buy's effectiveness through strategic organizational design, data analysis and research, employee engagement, and change management. You'll work closely with leadership, HR business partners and various departments to assess organizational needs. Then, you'll design effective structures and implement strategies that ensure the health and success of work at Best Buy.

What you'll do
- Design, lead and facilitate organizational effectiveness through organizational design, employee engagement and managing large-scale change initiatives
- Develop an approach to measure, collect, analyze, interpret and summarize organizational data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Start with data and external benchmarking to design plans, influence senior leaders and model data decision-making
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution and completion of multiple projects ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations
- Facilitate education and coaching, across the organization, to create greater effectiveness and efficiency and lead through ambiguity with confidence
- Foster a positive team environment by modeling and promoting collaboration, open communication and continuous improvement within the team and project teams
Basic qualifications
- 6 years within human resources, organizational effectiveness, change management, or business strategy and transformation
- 2 years of organizational design experience
- Demonstrates strong executive presence by confidently communicating vision and strategy to senior leadership and cross functional teams
- Leverages strong interpersonal and influencing skills to foster adoption, address concerns and guides teams through organizational change
- Experience with organizational design and change methodologies, including applying frameworks and best practices
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred qualifications
- 1 year of experience in business management consulting or 3 years leading strategic initiatives within a matrix organization
- 1 year of direct people leadership experience
- Workday, Orgvue, or similar HR systems acumen and experience
