Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.
The GPS Strategy offering leads strategic planning & portfolio management and reporting & monitoring workstreams. This includes day-to-day client interaction and leads to the creation of relevant resources and materials (such as strategic plans, roadmaps, etc.) and work products (such as development of performance metrics, tracking dashboards, etc.) in order to successfully implement client vision.

- Guiding our clients through critical and complex economic issues
- Assessing and communicating quantitative impact and value
- Helping our account-focused teams identify, advocate for and deliver transformational change for our clients using a wide array of emergent capabilities
- Advocate for credibility of analysis and recommendations, from the rigor and methodology of approaches to the reliance on quality data
- Leading collaboration with our network of experts to stress test client recommendations

Qualifications
Required:
- Masters of Business Administration OR Masters degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in financial, tax or economic modeling, data analysis, or a related role
- 10+ years of experience implementing econometric and statistical modeling techniques
- 10+ years of experience assessing and communicating quantitative impact and value to clients
- 8+ years of experience managing high-value portfolios, and experience identifying and proposing solutions to bring in additional portfolios of work.
- 5+ years of experience utilizing statistical software and programming languages such as Python, R, EViews, Stata, or SAS
- 5+ years of experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- 3+ years of experience using machine learning algorithms and AI tools for forecasting and scenario analysis
- 3+ years of experience incorporating public policy analysis and regulatory environments into deliverables
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Ability to travel 15%-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in consulting or working with Federal clients
- 5+ years of experience engaging with Federal clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Ability to "tell a story" through the creation of compelling client presentations
- Experience working independently with minimal guidance
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
- 3+ years of experience working with government agencies or on public sector projects
