Job Purpose/Summary:

The Global Trade Access Compliance (GTAC) is a critical pillar of our Export Trade COE within the International Business Unit. The primary responsibility for this position is to be a process owner for a multifunctional global access and compliance platform comprising of documentation, import/export requirements, and regulatory compliance that proactively defines risk and competitive advantage for all products and proteins for the assigned global region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Direct oversight of the regional GTAC pillar (regulatory compliance, import/ export requirements, and documentation) within the Export COE
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with Tyson team members domestically and internationally, regulatory personnel, industry influencers and key strategic partners as needed for the assigned global region
  • Develop and drive regional GTAC SOPs and KPIs to ensure consistency in Tyson export experience and ROI
  • Establish frequent demand strategy communication
  • Responsible for understanding and communicating import/export regulatory compliance requirements and documentation expectations for assigned global region
  • Assist with disruption and crisis response team and protocols
  • Establish ongoing risk assessment strategy and execute with accountability
  • Monitors and evaluates export market research and insights and communicates changing demands for assigned global region
  • Adjusting and driving strategy based on ambiguous situations

Requirements:

Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience directly related to export requirements and regulatory compliance with proficient knowledge of global supply chain
  • Previous management experience required

Computer Skills:
  • Standard Microsoft Office Suite experience; knowledge and expertise utilizing product and trade lane management systems

Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and connect effectively with sensitivity and diplomacy across multiple cultures and native languages.

Special Skills:
  • Experienced in collaborating across multiple BUs in a matrixed organization. Highly adaptable and skilled at influencing with diplomacy and tact with internal and external key stakeholders.

Supervisory:
  • Responsible for supervising personnel who perform somewhat identical or related tasks or activities within the GTAC pillar

Travel:
  • Up to 30% includes domestic and/or international travel
