Zenner: Regional Sales Manager
Position Summary: This positions primary responsibility is for the management of a sales territory covering multiple states within the U.S. This includes supporting distribution and calling directly on utility customers.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent real world experience.
Must have at least 3 years' experience in sales and distribution management or
Experience selling AMI/AMR equipment desired
Must have experience working with contractors.
Must be proficient working with Microsoft programs, word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
Must be willing to do extensive overnight travel to cover territory
Duties and Responsibilities:
Task
Percentage of Time
Field sales calls on prospective and existing customers throughout the assigned territory.
40%
Recruit, select and sign distributors and assist in their training. Manage distributors so that their sales people are actively selling Zenner products
35%
Coordinate closely with the President Zenner to assure that customer needs are met.
5%
Coordinate with Manager inside sales support the response for RFPs and Bids within the assigned territory
5%
Attend and support trade shows within the assigned territory, make recommendations on what shows to attend
5%
Assist in the establishment of budgets (sales, costs and margins) and assure that budgeted commitments are met.
5%
All other duties as assigned
