GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Director of Strategic Projects will work closely with the Senior Director of Strategic Projects and Think Together's leadership team to implement a wide variety of internal and external initiatives that support the organization's sustainability, evolution, and ambitious growth plans for Think Together and its affiliated organizations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops inclusive and strategic project plans by collaborating with leadership teams, board, and organization leadership.
Facilitate implementation of strategic projects by managing day to day activities including identifying project scope, forming teams, developing work plans, and tracking action items to ensure initiatives are implemented successfully.
Work with the leadership teams to maintain and support operations, managing updates, identifying metrics, tracking milestones and timelines, and supporting the annual refresh process.
Conduct comprehensive research for strategic initiatives including but not limited to research, analysis, presentations, communication of findings that align and support the organization's mission, vision, and culture.
Serve as a resource in developing and implementing strategies, project work plans, timelines, budgets, and internal processes that support the growth and scale of Think Together and its affiliated organizations.
Identify, develop/enhance and implement tools and processes that facilitate project management, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Serve as liaison between Senior Director and teams, as needed, to ensure routine administrative and directorial tasks, as well as special initiatives, are carried out in a timely basis.
Prepare agendas, materials, record action items, and conduct follow up for a variety of executive-level and internal meetings as needed to move strategic initiatives forward to successful completion.
Work with the Senior Director to support all strategic initiatives for Think Together and affiliated organizations.
Draft high impact presentations, grant proposals, and other written materials for internal and external audiences.
Provide support in data validation and analyzation, identifying organizational needs, forecasting trends used to develop strategic planning, reports and support plans.
Model high-performance values and behaviors that support Think Together's mission and culture.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree is required in business, analytics, or other related areas. Master's in related field preferred.
5 plus years of professional experience in a role requiring strategic planning, project management, research, and analytical problem-solving.
5 years of nonprofit management experience preferred.
Exceptional organization, time-management, communication, and analytical skills.
Demonstrable passion and commitment to working in the field of education and to Think Together's mission and vision.
Well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to build strong internal and external relationships and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to draw insights from data and to translate those insights into compelling materials.
Tact, humility, and discretion; able to represent the Program & Operations Department and Think Together in a highly professional manner and to serve as a positive role model and collaborator for external and internal stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Publisher), internet, preferred experience in SharePoint, OneNote, and Salesforce.
Pleasant and friendly demeanor with an outgoing personality.
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and strong time management skills.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to maintain composure and handle stressful situations.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

COMPENSATION:
  • Salary Range $80,000-$90,000

This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary
