The Manager, Planning & Analytics is responsible for leading the strategic planning and analytical initiatives to that will results in measurable business growth in income and participation. This role creates a business intelligence atmosphere that combines data analysis and performance measurement with insightful forecasting. This role oversees the functional areas of and staff assigned to conduct analytics, segmentation definition and strategy, contact planning and management, audience targeting, and campaign measurement/assessment.
Hybrid Role: Tuesday and Thursday in office
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
St rategic Segmentation and Targeting
Define member segments based on relevant data analyses and a thorough understanding of the organization's growth goals.
Leverage research to strengthen segmentation, focus strategic planning and identify growth opportunities.
Advise on risks and opportunities associated with decisions and proactively addresses misalignments
Provides leadership to team to implement audience segmentation strategies with an emphasis on data insights improve campaign effectiveness.
Implement best practices and continuously improve the effectiveness of planning and analytical functions.
Integrate Marketing Strategy
Recommends actionable integrated marketing strategies and priorities
Develops and implements contact management strategies and marketing scheduling processes
Lead the upkeep of the legal & marketing restriction and product eligibility documentation and ensures the information is incorporated into the respective database processes
Data Analysis Leadership
Establish a business intelligence atmosphere and define data visualization and data modeling strategies
Develop strategy for business reporting and forecasting to align with organizational goals and objectives.
Oversee the data tagging business rules and collection, analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to provide efficient actionable insights as well as longitudinal understanding.
Implement best practices and continuously improve the effectiveness of planning and analytical functions.
Partner with IT to furthers the understanding of the available data and its appropriate use and to enhance the quality of the data
Performance Measurement and Business Reporting
Develops strategy for efficient and effective business reporting
Defines the definition of standard marketing KPIs and lead the development of marketing ROI reporting.
Establish competitive benchmarks to give context to MB's marketing results.
Implement performance measurement to assess the effectiveness of strategies, campaigns, & channels and identify recommend based on data-driven insights
Oversees the consolidation of participation reporting for the marketing department
Risk Management
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the organization's assets and reputation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
This role mentors and develops a high-performing team through effective collaboration and communication. The role ensures all team members are operating in a consistent manner that supports brand expectations. The role fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team and encourages team members through performance coaching and individual skill development.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONNECTIONS
This role is expected to work collaboratively and strategically with internal staff and external contacts, including business partners and vendors. The purpose of these contacts is to establish and maintain respectful relationships while deploying integrated, effective digital marketing experiences.
BUDGET DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT
This role collaborates on the annual strategic plans and associate budgets. The role oversees the expenditures of the approved budget and adheres to company policies on expense management. Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively and ensures staff follow MB's financial processes.
VENDOR AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
The role is expected to oversee any contracted vendors who supply digital marketing and operational support. The incumbent defines scopes of work and ensures vendor performance aligns with expected deliverables.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR RESULTS
The results of work performed significantly influence the organization's revenue trends and overall financial sustainability.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : BS/BA in Digital Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field. In unique cases where a candidate has a history of successful growth marketing, equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience : Seven years of experience in marketing with a strong focus of independently using data to develop insights and strategies that drive revenue growth. We will prioritize experience in growth, multi-channel, integrated, and customer experience disciplines.
Required Knowledge
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, and SFMC
Experience in performance measurement and ROI assessment
Experience with connecting strategic planning with organizational outcomes
Required Competencies
