World Challenge, Inc. was founded by Reverend David Wilkerson in 1971 and served as a corporate umbrella for his worldwide conferences, book and tract publication, video production, evangelism, literature distribution, church planting, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers and many charitable outreaches.
Today, World Challenge shares the message of the gospel through mission outreaches, literature distribution and more. Sermons from David and Gary Wilkerson are shared monthly through the Pulpit Series Newsletter to hundreds of thousands of people. Missions outreaches include orphanages, overseas widows fund, disaster relief, and community development. centers and many charitable outreaches.
Gary Wilkerson became president of World Challenge in 2011 and moves forward with the same heart and vision as his father.
Job purpose
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing integrated marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive donations while ensuring consistent themes and messaging through all communications. They oversee the community of recurring donors, making sure they are informed of the impact of their generosity. Researches and identifies strategic messaging for specific advertising or promotional channels to effectively reach
targeted customer segments. Tracks projects to measure effectiveness and prepares status reports for stakeholders.
This is not a remote position. While there's the potential to work from home one day a week on Friday, the majority of work will be done in-office.

This position works in an office setting with regular business hours Monday - Friday. On occasion, the employee may be required to work evenings or weekends to collaborate with staffs that are deployed internationally. Travel up to 15% of the year may be required.

This role may require lifting up to 20-30 pounds and is performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

- This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position with benefits.
- Salary Range
- Between $85,000 and $95,000 a year based on qualifications and experience.
- Sign-on Bonus - $2,000
- $1,000 paid at the end of 30-days of employment
- $1,000 paid at the end of 6-months employment

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Donor Acquisition and Lead Generation
- Manage Acquisition Funnels (Online & Print):
- Develop and execute online and print marketing strategies to drive audience growth.
- Point person for the creation of compelling campaigns to engage new and existing audiences, fostering deeper connections with World Challenge.
- Craft lead generation materials and content to expand World Challenge's audience.
- Collaborate with Church Network Director:
- Ensure all necessary assets and communications are readily available for church leadership to engage with World Challenge.
- Work to hone messaging plan to one-time, first time donors and new leads.
- Audience Research:
- Research new target audiences and identify effective strategies for engagement.
- Manage Acquisition Funnels (Online & Print):
- Recurring Donor Engagement and Retention:
- Develop and Execute Recurring Donor Communication Strategy:
- Create and implement a comprehensive communication plan for recurring donors across various channels (email, social media, video, etc.).
- Manage and engage with a Facebook recurring donor group.
- Communicate with recurring donors on an as needed basis.
- Map and Optimize the Donor Journey:
- Map the donor journey from initial acquisition to recurring giving.
- Conceive and execute digital and print pipelines to maximize donor retention and conversion, achieving or exceeding established goals.
- Establish and Implement Testing Frameworks:
- Develop and maintain email and testing frameworks to continuously learn, improve, and optimize donor engagement.
- Review donation pages and funnels to affirm that proper testing is done as well as best practices are being met.
- Develop and Execute Recurring Donor Communication Strategy:
- Analysis, Reporting, and Optimization
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Generate monthly reports and conduct in-depth analysis of recurring donor engagement and retention metrics.
- Review and analyze digital channel communications and advertising performance.
- Data-Driven Optimization:
- Collaborate with the Donor Development team to research leads and identify potential recurring donors.
- Review digital channel communications and ads to make sure conversion goals are reached.
- Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to identify opportunities and strengthen World Challenge's market position.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Advocacy and Internal Collaboration:
- Advocate for Recurring Donor Community:
- Act as a champion for the recurring donor community, both internally and externally.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Donor Development team and Social Media Director to ensure consistent messaging and effective campaigns.

Qualifications
- Agreement and alignment with World Challenge's Statement of Faith
- Understands and embraces a biblical worldview
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing or a related field
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work well with others
- History of creating and leading marketing efforts to new and retained audiences
- Excellent writing and editing skills; strong grasp of the English language in written and verbal form
- Able to juggle multiple projects at once to meet deadlines and exceed expectations
- Experience with digital marketing practices and ability to adapt to new media
- Proficient and/or experience using Luminate or other customer relation management systems
