Job Title: Director, US Consumer Marketing Atopic Dermatitis
Location: Cambridge, MA
About the Job
Sanofi Specialty Care focuses on complex disease areas where there is a significant unmet need with the goal of developing and delivering best-in-category treatments. Dupixent is a significant growth driver for Sanofi.
Dupixent is a monoclonal antibody targeting Type 2 inflammatory diseases by blocking IL 4 and IL 13 cytokines. These cytokines play a key role in many atopic and allergic diseases such as Atopic Dermatitis (AD), Asthma, Nasal Polyps, Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), and other dermatologic and respiratory diseases. Dupixent was approved in March 2017 for the treatment of adults with moderate to severe AD and received a second approval for adolescents with AD in March 2019. Additionally, Dupixent recently received approval for COPD in 2024. The Dermatology and Respiratory indications serve as anchors for this product which is referred to as a "pipeline in a product", due to the many indications that are approved or are being studied.
The Director, US Consumer Marketing AD will be responsible for leading the development, execution and measurement of key marketing strategies and tactics, with a focus on the video space, to support the AD business on behalf of patients.
The Director, US Consumer Marketing AD will develop a thorough understanding of core patient needs to inform and guide the overall creative and messaging strategy for the AD business within the Dermatology franchise. This role will design, execute, and monitor consumer branded promotional programs, such as TV/OLV, in-office advertising, etc, and ensure close partnership and alignment with the AD digital marketing lead and broader portfolio priorities. It is critical for this position to take a lead role in translating and sharing performance/metrics for video and overall DTC promotional efforts with a keen eye on developing cohesive and comprehensive narratives that highlight strengths and opportunity areas on an ongoing basis. This role will also lead in driving innovation and prioritization for overall DTC video promotion, with a focus on leveraging new ways of working in the media and creative execution space, fostering a nimble test-and-learn approach and determining a pathway to leveraging AI and other innovative solutions to not just grow the AD business, but to also do so in a way that is cost-effective and with speed to market. The position will be based in Cambridge, Massachusetts and will report the Head of DTC Marketing for the Dermatology Franchise.
