POSITION SUMMARY: The Client Executive is a senior-level, client-facing position responsible for managing complex accounts, driving strategic initiatives, and mentoring junior team members. This role is ideal for a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in middle market commercial lines, particularly in real estate shared and layered programs or diversified books with captive clients and complex accounts. The Client Executive will take ownership of a sophisticated book of business, handling both day-to-day service needs and high-level risk management strategies. Working closely with leadership, this individual will help refine workflows, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the lead client contact for a complex book of business, managing all aspects of client relationships, renewals, and risk financing strategies
  • Develop tailored insurance solutions, ensuring coverage aligns with client objectives while optimizing costs
  • Lead renewal strategy, market negotiations, and placement processes with carriers to secure optimal coverage terms
  • Conduct financial analysis, risk mapping, loss analysis, and benchmarking to provide clients with data-driven insights
  • Prepare and present stewardship reports, market condition reports, and risk financing presentations to demonstrate value and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution of service deliverables
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine service workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate the client experience
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, contributing to the professional development of the CE team
  • Work toward a more advisory-driven service model, shifting away from a purely transactional approach
  • Maintain all documentation in Epic or similar agency management platforms
  • Additional duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
  • A four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent years of industry experience in a similar position
  • Possession and maintenance of Property and Casualty Insurance license for the State of Colorado required
  • Professional designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, or CRM preferred


Work Experience:
  • 5+ years of commercial P&C insurance experience, having specialized in real estate programs or managing a complex, diversified book of business
  • Strong background in middle-market and complex accounts within a brokerage/agency setting
  • Experience in client relationship management, marketing, risk management, and financial analysis
  • Experience with management liability lines and claims processes


FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Proven ability to independently manage a book of business while balancing both operational and strategic responsibilities
  • Proficiency in preparing and delivering stewardship reports, risk analyses, and loss assessments
  • Experience working with Epic or similar agency management systems (or ability to learn new platforms quickly)
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to the growth of the CE division
  • High EQ with strong relationship-building skills


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones, and multi-function printers.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
  • Pay Range: $61,900 - $160,000 (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
  • Total Compensation = Pay + Performance Bonus + Benefits
