Here's a summary of responsibilities:
The Manager of IT Infrastructure has the responsibility of providing secure, robust, reliable, scalable, performant, and efficient technology systems through the implementation and management of compliant and effective infrastructure solutions. This position will manage the daily operational support activities of the Infrastructure, Network, and Systems teams while ensuring exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers as well as business partners across the organization. This position also provides career guidance and growth for their direct reports through mentorship, one-on-one interactions, development and training opportunities, and the creation of development plans clearly outlining career growth objectives . This position will oversee and administer all production platforms, ensuring their availability, integrity, scalability, and security, inclusive of all network server , data center , and other infrastructure-related technologies. This position requires exceptional communication skills and attention to detail, as well as mastery in building and maintaining strong positive relationships within the IT department and across the organization, leveraging a servant leadership approach.
Here's how you 'll have an impact:
Lead the IT Infrastructure team to improve upon and create organizational processes and strategies using a servant leadership approach. Lead the team in various technology choices based on company needs and direction. Facilitate and encourage cross-team collaboration with all teams in the IT department and all departments and divisions across the Movement. Create and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators or metrics. Make recommendations for buy versus build decisions. Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and SLA enforcement. Work closely with vendors to establish new partnerships, optimize existing contracts, manage maintenance renewals, and ensure efficient usage of the USOPC's resources. Manage and maintain the priorities for the IT Infrastructure team. Manage all aspects of projects, including project timelines and resource allocations, and ensure projects meet agreed-upon deadlines and deliverables. Formulate system plans, estimate costs for delivering systems, and monitor any exceptions. Hire and manage all IT Infrastructure team members. Conduct regular reviews and ensure the team maintains technical qualifications and keeps up with any and all relevant industry standards and best practices. Work with team members on career growth opportunities and serve as a coach and mentor. Ensure that the implementation of systems meets the architectural specifications as well as the user requirements. Identify infrastructure-related needs and design and implement solutions that meet those needs. Maintain best practices and ensure the team follows standard processes and procedures. Participate in the definition of the architectural platform for all infrastructure areas. Evaluate industry trends for technology advances and make recommendations to upgrade the infrastructure platforms. Plan, install, and maintain the technical infrastructure (including hardware, software, servers, storage solutions, networks, or physical facilities) that supports critical business needs. Integrate package selections into the platforms where required . Perform other duties as assigned.

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree a plus
- 7+ years of IT experience with increased responsibility of IT roles
- 5+ years of project leadership/management experience, including managing infrastructure deployments
- Experience in small/mid-sized IT groups with fast-paced, multi-tasking, and multi-role efforts
- In-depth hands-on experience in Microsoft Enterprise solutions including On-Prem and Azure hosted server environments and Office 365 administration
- Working knowledge of wired and wireless networking solutions such as Palo Alto Networks, Extreme Networks, HPE/Aruba core and edge switching, etc.
- Working knowledge of backup and storage solutions inclusive of on-premises, cloud-based, DAM, cold storage, etc.
- Experience in data center infrastructure, including physical and virtualized server environments, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), SAN, NAS, and cloud-based solutions; experience with VMware vSphere, vSAN , and enterprise storage solutions preferred
- Experience designing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) strategies, including backup and restore processes, replication technologies, and failover solutions to ensure operational resilience
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and the ability to collaborate with the Cyber Security team to ensure alignment with industry-standard security frameworks (NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Focus on team member development and mentorship
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts
- Self-managed, highly motivated, and results-oriented
- Skilled at managing priorities and meeting deadlines in a complex, ever-changing environment

- Hiring pay ra nge: $1 07,190 - $136,132 Per Year
- Th is Full - T ime , E xempt positio n is intended to work 4 0 hour s per week.
- Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 1 5 % target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
