Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: PreOp & PostOp Surgery

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 10-hour days

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Pre/Post Op

License: Active RN license required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Must-Have:
- Ability to start IVs independently
- Experience with computerized charting systems such as EPIC

Job Description:
- Serve as a float nurse, starting IVs, assisting, and managing admissions
- Administer patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 in Pre Op, and 1:2 in Phase 2
- Work shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexible shift options ranging from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Hospital will provide scrubs
- Participate in a 1-2 day orientation program specific to the unit
- Understand and adhere to drug-free campus policies

Additional Information:
- The unit consists of 22 beds
- Local candidates will be considered for this position
