Experience: 2 years of recent inpatient/outpatient/PACU experience
License: Active NY RN license
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
Must-Have: On-call required; on call one weekend per month and 2-3 other days (total of 6-8 days per month)
Job Description:
- Provide skilled nursing care in the operating room setting
- Assist surgical teams during procedures by ensuring a sterile environment and preparing necessary instruments and equipment
- Monitor patients' conditions throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and interventions
- Adhere to best practices and safety protocols
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills
