Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty: Home Care
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Home Health experience including OASIS documentation
License: Current RN license
Certifications: CPR
Must-Have: Active car insurance and dependable vehicle
Job Description:
- Provide direct patient care in patients' homes, including vital signs and physical assessments.
- Perform procedures such as IV and wound care, lab draws, and disease management education.
- Handle case management responsibilities and documentation using Electronic Medical Records.
- Utilize equipment such as Protime machines for patient assessments.
- Possess skills in phlebotomy and catheter care.
- Engage in autonomous practice, with supervisor support available.
- Participate in a rotation for weekend, holiday, and after-hours call, typically 2 shifts per month.
- Responsible for completing 5-6 patient visits daily, or 25 per week, from a census of 550-600 patients.
- Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to the dress code which includes wearing scrubs, covering tattoos, and avoiding visible undergarments or midriff exposure.
- Participate in a comprehensive training and orientation program, including EMR training and company-specific policies for wounds and IV care, with a preceptor for up to 2 weeks.
- Work in a supportive environment with high staff satisfaction and effective leadership.
