ABOUT ROLE
In this role, you must be comfortable communicating both up and down - you can bring about compliance and buy-in, effectively communicate at EVP level & can inspire planning & strategy teams to complete their part of the process in a timely manner to achieve the broader goal.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Oversee team(s) of planners and coordinators currently assigned to specific agency HoldCo's to provide one point of contact for specific HoldCo sales teams and consistent leadership of our junior employees
- Training staff - creating/maintaining 'living' training documentations - TU 'University' training sessions more regularly
- Creating a sense of ownership and accountability through clear roles & responsibilities and proper training
- Assessing job descriptions, titles and salaries to ensure the organization is setup for the future/succession planning
- Managing liability/stewardship and ensuring it is proactively managed
- Creating and tracking KPI's: workload, turnaround time, errors, invoice credits, liability balances, team overtime
- Liaising closely with Sales staff related to their pod to create more cohesion and cleaner hand-offs between teams
- Responsible for decision-making, resource allocation, and providing guidance and direction to your team members.
- Formulating strategies, setting goals, and devising action plans that drive the organization's success.
- Fostering effective communication, promoting teamwork, and effectively managing conflicts within your teams.
YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ad sales support for a comparable network/publisher brand, or at an ad agency or digital company with ad-supported revenue
- A positive, solutions-oriented, and success-driven attitude
- A willing partner to Sales, Planning, Ad Ops, & Ad Sales Finance teams
- Spanish fluency and/or multi-cultural experience preferred, but not required
- Cross platform experience, is a big plus
- Superior creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and curiosity are a must
- Expertise in digital sales processes, digital platforms, measurement platforms & technology trends, is preferred
- Capacity to manage multiple deals with competing priorities and deliver within deadline
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be willing to work from the NY office location
- Employment/education will be verified
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis
