The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
FT positions available. D/E/N, 8/12 hour shifts. Weekend program and straight off shift opportunities also available. This team will offer a unique opportunity to experience different clinical exposure across the Medical Center including: Oncology, Peri-op, Cardiac, Thoracic, Acute Medicine, Surgical specialty units, Acute Rehab, psychiatry, Progressive care. Opportunities across service lines to develop a diversified skill base. The Glide team nurse will have a unique opportunity to assist with unit expansion and opening. Additional opportunities will be available for clinical ladder advancement, charge, and precepting. Assignments can vary pending previous experience, the ability to work on a single unit or on a variety of units. Individuals must be creative, flexible, motivated, and possess excellent communication skills. 2 years acute care experience required, BSN required.
