- Monitor the functionality of uploading new linked data from Vital Statistics and new hospital records from the Statewide Planning and Research Cooperative System.
- Design and implement modifications to the database and data collection fields.
- Maintain, enhance, and design data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and perform performance tuning.
- Maintain and ensure database integrity.
- Generate reports.
- Conduct queries as requested.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months of experience on Access database design
- and table relationships.
- 84 months of experience in data upload to Access database, creating new tables linked to existing tables.
- 84 months of experience in writing user guides to instruct the end-user on how to navigate the database, gathering requirements from the users and incorporating them into the database.
- 84 months of experience in data analysis, visualization and presentation.
- 84 months of experience in ensuring valid data entry.
- 84 months of programming experience in Visual Basic.
- 84 months of experience in SQL queries and macros.
- 84 months of experience of Access interface to ODBC.
- Bachelor's degree with concentration in Computer Science
- Full time role with engagement length of 30 months
- Daily work hours: 8:30am-5:00pm
- Physical office location: Corning Tower, Room 984, Empire State Plaza, Albany, NY 12237
- Telecommuting options: 50%
