Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (09:00 - 19:30)

Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours guaranteed

Experience: 1 year required; first-timers not accepted

License: Valid state or compact license required

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS

Must-Have:
- Level II Trauma Center experience
- Proficient or expert in all areas of neurological and cardiovascular sections of PACU skills assessment
- Ability to titrate drips
- Rotational flexibility to phase II PACU for outpatient discharge
- Ability to be within 30 minutes of the hospital for on-call duties
- Two references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year

Job Description:

- Variable start time options: 9 am, 9:30 am, 10 am, 10:30 am, 11 am, 11:30 am, 12 pm, 12:30 pm
- Required to take calls Monday-Friday from 11 pm - 7 am, and Saturday and Sunday if needed for approximately one weekend per month
- Weekend shifts are required every other weekend or a total of six weekend shifts per six-week period, based on unit needs
- Document patient care using SCM
- Float within the scope of all four specified hospitals, with a home base and potential for travel to additional locations
- Follow hospital policy for floating, holiday, and hurricane policies for travelers
- Mandatory flu vaccine between 10/31-3/31, with medical or religious exemptions only
- COVID-19 vaccine required, with medical or religious exemptions only
- Wear scrubs in any solid color, matching

Please note that rotational scheduling and shift requirements are contingent on unit needs and may require manager approval.
