Description -
The North America Consumer PS business is a successful organization with a strong #1 PC market share, exciting new products, and opportunities for continued growth. The organization is looking for an experienced business driver to drive NA Consumer's response to evolving trade policies (ex. tariffs), and to drive business efficiency and growth initiatives across major retail partners and HP's Direct Online business.
This role will require collaboration across multiple teams-working closely with Business Management, Finance, Channel, and Product Management teams to improve processes, streamline efficiencies, that will help to drive revenue, market share and CM growth. The individual will need to navigate complex regulatory changes, ensuring that HP adapts to evolving government trade policies in a way that maintains market competitiveness.
The individual must successfully operate in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and provide strategic, data-driven and innovative solutions. They must be able to set direction, develop business plans, and influence key stakeholders. They will act as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $146,950.00 to $226,300.00 annually, with a 80/20 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities:
- Lead HP's response to changing trade policies and develop a business & financial strategy to manage the rapidly evolving NA regulatory environment.
- Work cross-functionally with Business Management, Channel, and PM teams to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes that impact NA Consumer growth.
- Develop and Execute Business Plans at NA Consumer and US Consumer level focused on Direct Retailers and with the charter to enable and grow HP's direct online business.
- Partner to Drive NA Consumer Revenue Opportunities to positively impact both near-term and longer-term profitability.
- Develop recommendations for incremental Marketshare, Revenue, and Margin Opportunities and formulates them into business plans.
- Actively contributes/leads the definition of the category business plan.
- Establish relationships and represents team with sales force and other partners at senior levels.
Education and Experience Required:
- University or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Strategy, Planning or Finance; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Typically 12+ years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experienced preferred.
- Demonstrated Management/ Team leadership experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Superior understanding of the category product, business management and sales challenges and strategies in US Retail.
- IT industry knowledge, preferably in WW or NA Consumer PC Business
- Superior business acumen
- Business planning skills, multidimensional.
- Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting.
- Strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally.
- Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
- Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.
- Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing).
