Job Title: Technologist / Technician
Job Specialty: Mammography
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Mon-Tues 12:00 PM-8:00 PM, Wed-Fri 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, and every other Saturday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Experience: 2+ Years of Experience Required
License: NYS DOH License
Certifications: ARRT (R) (M), BLS
Must-Have: ARRT (R) (M) Certification, NYS DOH License, 2+ Years of Experience
Job Description:
- Work in a Breast Imaging Center within an outpatient facility.
- Conduct mammography procedures ensuring optimal image quality.
- Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
- Participate in continuing education and training sessions to stay updated with current practices.
- Work primarily Monday through Friday with alternating weekend shifts.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and cover shifts as needed.
