Position Overview
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at IOB, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI-driven applications. You'll be instrumental in designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, identifying and resolving defects, and contributing to a seamless and exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for AI-driven applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to guarantee software quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define requirements and create effective test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, facilitating their resolution with developers.
- Automate test processes using scripting and testing frameworks to improve efficiency.
- Perform exploratory testing to validate AI efficacy and uncover potential issues and recommend improvements.
- Analyze test results and deliver comprehensive reports on software quality and performance metrics.
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, with a focus on AI and application testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools such as Selenium and Playwright, and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools like JUnit or TestNG.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and machine learning testing concepts such as A/B, context, statistic, adversarial, or white box testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to write complex test cases under time constraints.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work across teams.
- Flexibility to work hours in support of our Enterprise customers' needs, to include evening and night shifts.
- Flexibility to travel as needed, less than 5% expected.
Bonus Points & Other Considerations
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Previous working experience in a start-up environment.
