Business Development Manager-Houston, TX

Responsibilities:
  • Identify strategic accounts / projects in target markets and develop account / project penetration trackers to determine progress and potential bookings
  • Building a high-quality sales funnel in strategic markets and accounts
  • Understand renewable fuel and clean energy customer processes and leverage our technology and value proposition to be specified or preferred
  • Lead strategic account mapping, identifying key decision makers and influencers for each account. Develop action selling process by developing product value proposition for each stakeholder
  • Lead new account cultivation including scheduling VOC meetings with EPC's, licensors and end-users, developing and presenting customer facing value proposition content and establishing technology acceptance or approved vendor status at respective account
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns in target markets to identify and cultivate new leads
  • Identify customer pain points and buying needs. Develop pre-quotes and work closely with sales to convert to a sales opportunity / RFQ
  • Translate VOC into internal sales enablement materials and provide training to commercial organization and channel partner network
  • Provide feedback to product line management and new product development teams on product or go to market gaps
  • Knowledge of "Renewable Fuels and Clean Energy" market segments (preferred)
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment technologies (preferred)


Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in business, marketing or engineering
  • Minimum 5 years in Business Development, Market Development, or related experience
  • Solution driven, with the ability to manage and execute action plans
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate value proposition to a variety of decision makers
  • Ability to build cross functional relationships internally and externally, lead through influence
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25%
