Civil Project Manager/Practice Leader
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients on a range of water and wastewater utility projects.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities, with a focus on existing client relationships.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and work plans while ensuring projects stay within these parameters.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams, outlining work plans, assigning tasks, and resolving challenges.
- Oversee and coordinate project personnel to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
- Offer leadership and mentorship to staff, encouraging professional growth and teamwork.
- Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, and other necessary project documentation.
- Foster a culture of excellence, motivating team members to deliver high-quality results.
- Assist in achieving financial targets for the practice area.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews to uphold engineering standards and client expectations.
- Contribute to proposal development, including defining project scope, schedules, fees, and overall content.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field) required
- 10+ years of experience as a Professional Engineer (PE) in a consulting environment
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in SC or ability to transfer license to SC
- Experience with water resources projects (water utilities)
