Description:
Meta's Strategic Sourcing Contracts team manages high volumes of inbound commercial contracts across the company and this Contracts Manager role will lead and support marketing contracts strategy - driving process improvements, reviewing/managing category contracts, and preparing/negotiating complex commercial contracts for the Marketing department within Meta. This position will also coordinate workflow to outsourced partners & manage review and approval of contracts. The Contracts Manager will work in a time-sensitive environment with frequent tight deadlines under minimal supervision. Efficiency is prioritized with both internal clients and external vendor attorneys/legal teams.

Contracts Manager - Marketing Responsibilities
- Manage workload of category contracts between outsourced partner and category team alongside other contracts category leads.
- Review high volume of category contracts submitted by outsourced partner and identify opportunities for process improvement and training.
- Prepare, redline, negotiate, and manage a high volume of commercial contracts including services agreements, Statements of Work, amendments, and related legal agreements.
- Lead marketing contracts strategy and work cross functionally with Strategic Sourcing, Legal, and Marketing business teams to drive process improvement
- Ensure business activities and contracts comply with internal policies and guidelines, and industry laws and regulation, including data privacy laws.
- Engage in frequent communications with both Meta's and vendor's legal teams.
- Liaise with business partners to understand their project goals so that project description and all requirements are accurately reflected in each contract.
- Be responsible for entering contracts into Meta's contract management tools and Artificial Intelligence-enabled tooling.
- Partner with departments such as Finance and Legal to ensure agreements are in compliance with legal and budgetary guidelines and policies.
- Ensure end-to-end successful completion of contracts for marketing category.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of contract drafting and negotiation experience, with familiarity supporting marketing organizations
- Highly productive with the demonstrated experience to prioritize, manage, and review high volumes.
- Understanding of how to balance legal/contractual issues with business risk.
- Organized and process-oriented, with experience navigating ambiguity.
- Adept in working with various tools including MS Office, Google Workspace, and advanced contract management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- JD or paralegal certificate a plus, but not required
- Experience managing contracts strategy
- Experience managing or indirectly managing outsourced partners and workload distribution
- Experience with analyzing data and streamlining business processes
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence-enabled tooling
