Senior Snowflake Developer/Administrator - Exempt

Job Description:

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Provide development effort for projects like Datamart's, Client Analytics.
• dministrate Snowflake accounts and support Snowflake control plane to enable Snowflake tenants workloads.
• Work in an Agile methodology to provide expertise and share the best software development practices with the team.
• Collaborate with product owners, quality engineers and cross functional teams to provide solutions and solve design and architectural problems.
• bility to do quick proof of value for upcoming Snowflake cloud features.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Software development experience.
• Expertise on Snowflake is a must.
• Should be able to administrate Snowflake DB.
• Should know Snowflake Information metadata schemas and Snowflake internals.
• CI/CD DevOps experience.
• Work experience with Gitlab and automation.
• Integrate snowflake with different BI tools.
• SQL experience.
• Distributed cloud services (preferably Azure).
• Distributed data loading (Kafka, Snowpark, and Spark).
• Working knowledge of relational and in-memory databases: Oracle, Vertica, and Hazelcast.
• Must be well versed with authentication and authorization in cloud services.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Financial/Investment industry knowledge.

• I/ML experience.
