ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Senior Program Manager, International Market Development is a member of HSO's International Accreditation team and reports to the Executive Vice President, Global Market Development. The Senior Program Manager will lead and enable a team in market development efforts including international staff and business development partners. That means assessing the needs of health care systems/organizations and creating customized solutions aligned with the Enterprise strategy and mission: enabling and empowering people around the world to continuously improve quality of care.
As the Senior Program Manager, International Market Development, you will lead the strategy to drive a business plan focused on growth and global market expansion. You will leverage your international business development experience, product and marketing expertise to lead international expansion supported by marketing campaigns and will develop and deliver program design, including corresponding concepts and proposals for global audience. You will work collaboratively with the International Operations team to successfully transition projects to implementation.
You have superior project design and implementation skills which enable you to build teams of experts and deliver proposals on the ideas presented by potential clients. You have excellent active listening skills, to enable you to discover solutions to meet their unique needs and guiding them towards success motivates and drives you. You have effective communication and critical thinking skills and feel comfortable building relationships with a variety of stakeholders including highest ranking officials in various countries. Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Provide leadership and direction to the International Market Development team. You will approach everything with passion, leadership and integrity and will bring out the best in others to help get things done. Stay on top of emerging trends, deepening corporate knowledge of accreditation and health systems and integrating into HSO's corporate strategy.
- Champion of innovative practices: Lead and enable your team in the ability to assess the needs of health care systems and organizations to create customized solutions.
- Growth and Impact: You will leverage product and marketing expertise to lead international go-to-market strategies and will develop and deliver program design, including corresponding concepts and proposals for global audience to drive market growth.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Build authentic and enduring relationships with staff, clients, partners, stakeholders, consultative and operational committees; rallying them to contribute to our goals and success. Identify with clients and assess their unique needs through an understanding of their performance indicators, culture and the context of their organization.
- Team Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the department. Implement key business decisions and initiatives in collaboration with leadership team..
Must Have Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field such as International Relations, Healthcare Administration, and/or Business Administration.
- 7 plus years of progressive experience.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams. Ability to mentor, teach and train.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the international business environment and practices.
- Proven track record in international sales and tender processes.
- Strong proposal development and writing skills.
- Knowledge of International Financial Institutions.
- Entrepreneurial acumen.
- Change management skills.
- Tried and tested analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in leading senior health care professionals.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset and/or any of the following languages: Spanish, Italian, Arabic or Portuguese.
- Are agile, adaptable and accustomed to high pace environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time (regions: Europe, Gulf, Caribbean, Latin America)
- Experience as a management consultant is an asset.
