The Manager of Application Development and Support is responsible for the ongoing support and enhancement of various applications and server infrastructure. The role involves managing a team of application development professionals, ensuring the proper care and maintenance of these systems, and overseeing systems architectures and standards. The Manager will ensure data integrity, security, scalability, durability, and adequate support for all systems.

The Manager of Application Development and Support is responsible for the ongoing support and enhancement of various applications and server infrastructure. The role involves managing a team of application development professionals, ensuring the proper care and maintenance of these systems, and overseeing systems architectures and standards. The Manager will ensure data integrity, security, scalability, durability, and adequate support for all systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, direct, and mentor a team of application development professionals.
- Oversee the maintenance, support, and enhancement of applications and server infrastructure.
- Ensure systems are secure, scalable, durable, and adequately supported.
- Develop and implement systems architectures and standards.
- Collaborate with teams to gather business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Oversee the integration of data management processes for efficient systems performance.
- Provide guidance on technical delivery while managing the growth and development of direct reports.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience managing direct reports, including coaching and development.
- 7 years of experience in the financial services industry or relevant field.
- Proficiency in Hyperion tools, including Hyperion Planning, Financial Reports, Essbase, EPMA, EAS, DRM, security configuration, and Smart View.
- Experience in collaborating with finance, planning, and analytics teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Experience working with SQL, PL/SQL Server, and SSIS for efficient data management and integration.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to propose innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with SAS (Analytics software and solutions) and related tools such as Enterprise Guide, DI Studio, and CPM.
Education:
- BA or BS degree required.

- Minimum of 7 years of job-related experience.
