Overview:
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic sonograms to demonstrate anatomy and pathology for interpretation by a physician. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to rotate to different locations, cover various shifts, and work weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a formal, accredited ultrasound training program approved by CAHEEP.
- Current ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties (minimum).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a similar setting, with equivalent Senior Sonographer skills.
- For new hires, equivalent experience and credentials must meet criteria, with title granted at the discretion of the Section Chief and Section Supervisor.
- Hospital experience with ultrasound procedures such as OB, thyroid, transplant (kidney and liver).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatric ultrasound experience.
Skills and Certifications:
- ARDMS credentials in Abdominal and OB/GYN Sonography.
- BLS Certification.
- Graduation from a CAHEEP-accredited ultrasound program.
- Experience with a variety of ultrasound procedures, including OB, thyroid, and transplant imaging.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
