Location

Hybrid: Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two-week pay period.
Summary/Objective

The Senior Business System Analyst is an expert within a specific business unit while also mentoring and supporting other Business System Analysts. Responsibilities primarily focus on connecting business processes with technology systems to effectively advise Business Owners on features and functionality that create efficiencies and/or improve the member experience.

Their responsibilities also include gathering requirements and success measures for initiatives, challenging stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcome are being pursued for our members and organization. They work closely with Business Owners, business units, third-party vendors, and IT teams to ensure effective project breakdown, implementation, and support. They have advanced knowledge of business analysis, KPIs, business case development, financial analysis, and systems analysis. They communicate well across all levels of the organization and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
Essential Functions
  • Gather, understand, document, and analyze complex business requirements, influencing Business Owners as needed, to ensure each effort is meeting the needs of our members and our organization. Ensure that clear success measures exist for each effort to drive prioritization and accountability.
  • Partner with business and vendors, acting as the key contact to advise on new features, design, and configuration that add value as well as mature and grow the services that we provide to our members. Understand business processes in detail to advocate for the implementation of these new features.
  • Implement significant system changes related to applications through configuration and system tuning.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to other Business System Analysts to develop technical and influencing skills.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, product ownership, performance excellence, or similar
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline OR 4+ years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required)
  • Experience influencing business decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using hypotheses-driven problem solving.
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Financial institution experience
  • Experience working with leadership teams to identify key opportunities to develop and enhance business strategy using quantitative and qualitative analytics
  • Experience identifying business needs and leading strategic plans driven by qualitative/quantitative analysis and market insights
  • Vendor management experience
  • Business Analysis certification
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Project Management certification
Work Environment

Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full Time / 40 hours per week

Compensation Information:

The person hired into this position will likely earn between $85,380 and $106,725, plus annual bonus.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
