MCA Underwriter - 1589

A growing company is seeking a skilled MCA (Merchant Cash Advance) Underwriter with 1-2+ years of experience in MCA to join their team. This role is based in the Miami area, with the opportunity for growth in a fast-paced environment and syndication opportunities as a major incentive.

Responsibilities Include:

• Underwriting & Risk Assessment:
  
  • Review and assess merchant applications for MCA funding.
  • Analyze financial statements, business performance, and creditworthiness to determine approval or rejection of loans.
• Syndication & Partnership:
  
  • Work with syndication partners to secure funding for large loans and facilitate the underwriting process.
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and syndication partners.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  
  • Ensure that all required documentation is complete and compliant with company standards.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of underwritten deals post-approval.
• Team Collaboration & Strategy:
  
  • Collaborate with sales and risk management teams to improve underwriting processes and achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance underwriting procedures and risk management strategies.

Ideal Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years of experience in MCA underwriting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of risk analysis, financial assessment, and merchant lending.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
