WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate for this position must be familiar with the HVAC industry. This individual will need to implement sales plans to ensure the achievement of agreed objectives and sales targets within a pre-defined region. They will need to manage sales functions and outputs to ensure that all sales aspects are effectively maximized to achieve regional and corporate sales objectives. They are experienced at creating, articulating, and presenting high level presentations at the executive level and this person must be a person of integrity. They must also be able to work well in a team environment. This person dives into the details while keeping the big picture in mind. In addition, the HVAC Sales Manager must be highly self-motivated, have a positive attitude and be resourceful and enthusiastic about sales and continued growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for achieving regional sales budgets and goals in Canada
  • Build relationships and communicate regularly with the corporate office
  • Responsible for seeing that ongoing product training is conducted for Navien sales personnel, all sales outlets/distributors and sales agency staff
  • Monitor and analyze field sales reports, interpret results and take corrective action to achieve sales targets
  • Develop new business opportunities in residential and commercial markets which are in turn pulled through the plumbing wholesale channel
  • Lead, direct, and manage manufacturer's representatives in accordance with the strategies and tactics of the region
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with distributors and sales outlets
  • Responsible for promotion of product portfolio at various trade shows
  • Resolve customer complaints and assist technical service with problem resolution
  • Assist in recruitment and selection of manufacturer's representative agencies
  • Embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment
  • Various local marketing projects and suggestions as requested
  • 50% domestic travel expected (TBD)

Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC sales and management
  • Experience managing HVAC product sales in a regional capacity
  • Ambition to grow and take on new assignments/skills as needed
  • Understanding of the changing marketplace and ability to adapt to change
  • Positive sales-oriented personality
  • Strong Team Player
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Able to manage productivity goals and quality standards
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.) experience

Preferred Qualification:
  • BA Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communication helpful

Pay Scale: C$120,000 - C$130,000 DOE plus Annual Bonus Opportunity
